About Us

For over 30 years, Milford Veterinary Services has offered quality medical and surgical care through the efforts of Stan Weill DVM and his kind and capable staff. Dr. Weill, after graduating from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, established a mobile veterinary service for clients who are elderly, housebound, or incapable of transporting their pets to a traditional veterinary facility. Complementing the house call practice is Dr. Weill's fully equipped veterinary hospital, located at 525 Boston Post Road in Milford, Connecticut which serves as a medical, surgical, and treatment center for patients requiring those needs.

Stan Weill DVM has been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Weill has served the city of Milford for over 20 years to maintain the highest standards of veterinary care for the Milford Animal Control facility. His veterinary knowledge and care of this facility spans many species, including dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. Annually, Stan Weill DVM has offered charitable services for the Milford rabies vaccination clinic fund drive.

Dr. Stan Weill has taught pre-veterinary courses at the Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut, and was honored with a Best Teacher Award for a human-Animal Companion Bond Class taught at Amity Regional Middle School in nearby Orange. Additionally, Dr. Weill appeared on Channel 8 News for 10 weeks with a veterinary question-and-answer show in which people with pet concerns called in with questions; he expertly guided the callers on how to best address specific health issues.
